Ingredients:

40g butter
20g brown sugar
 1 egg
 1 very ripe banana
 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
120g flour
1 tsp baking powder
 1 pinch of salt
 

Instructions:

 Preheat the oven to 180°C.
 In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugar over low heat; remove from the cooker and add the egg.
Add the mashed banana and vanilla.
 Add the dry ingredients without over-mixing.
 Butter and flour a cake tin.
 Bake for 45 minutes, checking the baking status with a knife.
